Sly 3 - This game contains a mixture of easy and difficult levels and different fom sly 1 because there are 2 mini games that 2 people can play, and they are really good fun. Sly fans will really enjoy this game you are different characters for different levels includes Carmelita,Sly,Bentley and Murrey.The graphics seem to be better in this game and there is more to do than in the first two Sly games. There are some levels where you can use 3d glasses and they are provided with the game.
Better than Ratchet and Jak! - Iam so sad that the sly games over,probaly due to it being not as popular as other platform games.However,Sly 3 Honour Among Thieves is my favourite platform game of all timeThe ability to control over 5 people and roam many places freely is unique and fantastic.The storylins is very intresting and the many moves you can do in a fight makes this game even better.I love all the disguises you have and the places are so detailed.It is very hard to find any faults in this game.It may not be as long as Ratchet and physical in Jak,but I would definitely recommend this game.At a very cheap price,this game is almost perfect!
Addictive, but get rid of the hacker sections!! - I have all 3 Sly games, and I think they re great. I ve completed all three several times, and never get bored. Sly 3 if funnier than the last two, with more jokes (although Murray does get a tad boring at times) and more silly situations to get the gang out of. For the first time the gang is expanded, which I enjoy as it means there are far more ways to do the stuff you need to do. I also find Murray s way of mugging people to be great fun, and hilarious the first few times, although he always catches the attention of nearby guards. On the whole I would have given this 5 stars if it wasn t for one simple section of the game: Bentley s hacking sections.They play like retro Space Invaders, which is fine, but they are just plain irritating to play. I ve lost count of the number of times I ve dies simply because I couldn t get a coloured ball turned round the right way in time and got cornered. I ve seen me taking half an hour to do a section which only travels through three screens, and these sections spoil the game for me, and often have me yelling at the TV. They ve been a feature since game one, and I ve hated them from game one.Despite that the games are great fun on the whole, and a must for platformer fans everywhere. Very little is original in the genre and next to nothing is original for the series, but definately one worth playing.But don t bother with the 3-D glasses.
Fresh Variety is the order of the day - I have the first game of this series as well and the entire thing was done as sly. In thi there is so much more variety. Run over insects to cool down wheels. Breaking things with murrays bounce and the old sneaking and stealing with sly eg climbing up a giant police foxe that has been turned evil. Also this time sly s crew is playable too, and in each overall level there are individual levels for each, and they offer a different style of gameplay, with bently being crippled in a wheelchair and murray punchimg.This is one of the most original and fun games I have ever played and it has good graphics as well
BEST TRILOGY SINCE JAK AND DAXTER!! - Well I certainley hope this is not the end of Sly and his gang. In this game there are even more added things like you get 4 new recruits along the path of this game to crack open the Cooper Vault. You have the Guru, Penelope, Panda King and shockingly Dimitri. There is also another added effect with thought bubbles giving you options on what to say to get a favour off a character. Murray has some new abilities like his aboriginal ball form and there is also a new shortcut sell where you pickpocket some loot off a guard and then it will tell you how much it costs and sell it there and then. The ending was a bit sad with Sly getting amnesia. Maybe he was just pretending to get a relationship with Carmelita. Maybe Bentley can make Sly remember his past by making him read the Thevius Raccoonus. Maybe, just maybe there ll be a fourth installment...
